Adam Andersen-Groves
Adam Andersen-Groves began his career in the wedding industry in 2002 in Atlanta, Georgia. After relocating to Charlottesville, he became the Director of Weddings and Special Events at the Forbes Five-Star resort Keswick Hall. During his time there, Adam collaborated with a wide range of planners while also serving as the lead planner for many of the resort’s weddings. This hands-on experience provided him with an unparalleled foundation in event planning and a deep understanding of how to create exceptional, seamlessly executed celebrations.
Adam, and his husband Allen, live on their small family farm, with a few barn cats, chickens and honey bees, just outside of Charlottesville.
Kelsey Mayo-Ros
Kelsey Mayo-Ros joined the Donovan-Groves Events team as a full-time Wedding Planner after serving as the Events Manager at Keswick Hall. Having collaborated with Adam on weddings and a variety of special events, she was the natural choice when it came time to expand the team.
An accomplished vocalist, Kelsey graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a degree in Music, bringing both creativity and a keen artistic eye to her work.
Kelsey lives in Charlottesville with her husband, daughter, and son, where she continues to craft meaningful, beautifully orchestrated celebrations for our couples.
