While based in Charlottesville, we have satellite offices in DC, as well as New York for our clients who are having their weddings in the Charlottesville area.

Adam Donovan-Groves first began working in the wedding industry in Atlanta, Georgia in 2002. After a move to Charlottesville, Va. 12 years ago, Adam had the opportunity to continue working in the wedding industry as the Director of Weddings and Special Events at the Forbes 5-Star rated resort, Keswick Hall. While at Keswick Hall, Adam worked with a wide variety of planners, while being the sole planner for many of the weddings at the resort, giving him the best education you can receive for events, hands on. Once his family determined they had no desire to leave the Charlottesville area, Donovan-Groves Events went from a dream, to reality.
Adam, and his husband of 18 years, reside just outside of Charlottesville on their small family farm with their rescue dog, Gracie, a few barn cats, and their honey bees.
Kelsey Mayo joined the Donovan-Groves Events team after her time as the Events Manager at Keswick Hall. Having worked with Adam for 5+ years on weddings and other events, when it was time to expand, Adam didn't have to look very far.
An accomplished singer, Kelsey graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a degree in Music and resides in Charlottesville.
